Adrian has worked in Commercial Finance for over 25 years and has used Excel almost every day of his career. 

Having attended countless Microsoft-led and independent Excel training courses, and augmented that learning with a passion for discovering everything that Excel can do.

Adrian found himself becoming the resident 'Excel guru' at every company he was employed by, frequently coaching others and devising sophisticated Excel models, even as a relatively junior employee.

Since forming PPX Consulting, a finance consultancy based in Northamptonshire, in 2019,  Adrian has used his developer-level Excel knowledge to build countless complex, often automated Excel models for clients,  and to create integrations between Excel and numerous other SaaS applications and ERP systems, in order to improve client processes.

As the company grew and new employees came on board, 'Practical Excel Skills' was created. Originally an Excel training course written for employees at PPX Consulting, it was subsequently expanded. 

How long does it take to pass the course?

As this is an on-demand course, the speed of completion is entirely up to you. 

A reasonable progression, including the lessons, the tests and the interactive worksheets, is one week.

How do I receive my CPD certificate once I have completed the course?

After successfully completing the test at the end of Unit 5, the certificate will be emailed to them within 24 hours of completion.

Can I skip ahead to later parts of the course?

You must pass the test at the end of each Unit in order to access the next unit. 

However, you can attempt the test at any time once you have access to that unit.

What level of Excel ability is the course aimed at?

The course aims to take beginner/intermediate Excel users and develop their skillset to an advanced level. It is not specifically aimed at advanced users, although it's important to bear in mind that the focus of the course is around speed and productivity, so even advanced users will learn new, more efficient ways to get things done.

Is the course updated as new Excel features become available?

Yes, we will add new content to the course regularly as Microsoft release new features. New updates will be communicated by email, so that learners who have already completed the course can go back and review updated content.

How will the updated content affect certification if I have already completed the course before the update?

The CPD certification is based on the current content and updates annually, so any new features added after you achieve certification will not affect your certification.

Does access to the content expire?

No. Once the course has been purchased, you will have lifetime access to all content and can revisit it at your leisure. 

Once certification has been achieved, all units will be permanently unlocked so you can use it as an online 'Excel library'.

Can I purchase multiple licences for my team/colleagues?

Yes, although each learner will need to be enrolled individually.

 Is there a discount for multiple purchases?

Is 'Practical Excel Skills' available as a live course?
